ABOUT US

The Food and Drink Supply Chain All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) was established in February 2022 by Chair Matt Vickers MP to champion the food and drink supply chain in Parliament.

It seeks to shine a light on a complex industry and tackle the misconceptions that exist, by providing a forum to explore the challenges it faces and what government action is needed to overcome those issues.

  • All Party Parliamentary Groups are politically neutral
cross-party group of Parliamentarians concerned about
a particular issue – in this case the food and drink supply chain.

Though they are run by and for Members of the Commons and Lords, many choose to involve outside organisations for advice and administration. The FDSC APPG has regular meetings within Parliament to discuss happenings within the food and drink supply chain, as well as listening to the thoughts of anybody with an interest in the sector.

This may include receiving expert presentations and testimony from those working in sector, or have been impacted by it.
